What a student sees

Beautifully rendered math problems are a highlight of each assignment, which student access directly from Google Classroom, Canvas, or any other LMS. Homework assignments are designed to encourage group work and peer teaching, and feedback is immediate. Students repeat problem sets until they master the material.

What the teacher sees

Teachers select problem forms tailored to sections of widely-used math textbooks, and ALOFT generates large numbers of possible questions about the material. The assignment is distributed to students via a customized link, bypassing the need for additional student accounts, logins and passwords. Grades are produced in a report for scenarios in which the teacher is rigorous about deadlines or is more flexible. ALOFT watches for undesirable behavior in the students — including working too late at night, moving too quickly through the material, guessing, or turning in the assignment at the last possible minute — and composes verbiage that you can edit and use in constructive emails to students.
